Altitude: departure 1,150 metres a.s.l. - arrival 2,348 metres a. s. l.

Duration: 5 hours ascent, 4 hours descent.

This route departs from the old chalet situated on the state road that stretches from Secinaro to Rocca di Mezzo. This first part of the route is characterised by green fields and immense forests, crossed by dirt-tracks and mule-tracks cleared during the centuries by woodcutters. It emerges at the peak at an altitude of 2,290 metres a.s.l. From here it moves north slightly uphill through fields and rock cliffs until it reaches the summit which is marked by a large iron cross.
