From Castelvecchio Subequo to the Italic Necropolis

Duration: One to one and a half hours

Departs from the church of St. Agata and the fountain of the same name tho the outsirts of the lived-in centre of Castelvecchio Subequo. The route brings us to the catacombs of the IV century B.C., after travelling on a dirt road we reach the old Tiburtina state road. This continues until we reach a turn-off for another unpaved road ( adjacent to the state road is a small parking area with park benches and a fountain). This unpaved road leads us up to the Italic village, characterised by circular tombs ( the outlines of the tombs characterised by stones placed in circles in the ground are partly hidden by the vegetation).
